About Dubai and its timings

Dubai began on the two banks of a narrow creek separating Deira from Bur Dubai, and the wooden abra crossing is still the fastest way between them. Its historic reliance on pearling and then re-export trade set up its present role as an airport and business hub. Heavy coastal humidity in summer makes the Fajr and Isha congregations the most comfortable in open-air mosques.

Dubai follows the official UAE convention, which differs slightly in its Isha angle, so the adhan lands a few minutes later than a Muslim World League calculation.
