About Abu Dhabi and its timings
Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, built on an island joined to the mainland by several bridges. It began with a freshwater well and pearl diving and grew into a broad modern city after oil. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is among the largest in the world and holds more than forty thousand worshippers.
Abu Dhabi lies about 120 km west of Dubai, so its times run roughly three minutes later, and the whole country follows the Islamic Affairs authority calendar.
