Wesalna is a free bilingual Arabic and English Islamic platform that gathers what a Muslim needs every day in one place.
No sign-up, no subscription, and no fatwas: religious content is quoted with its declared sources.
Prayer times are calculated for your own location or any city, with a choice of calculation method and Asr madhhab, a full month timetable, a countdown to the next prayer and an embeddable widget. The Qibla compass uses great-circle bearing and shows both the Qibla angle and the distance to Makkah.
The Holy Quran is available as text and recitation, with ayah search and repeated passages. The zakat and inheritance calculators show every step, not only the final figure. Alongside them: the Hijri calendar, azkar, a digital tasbih, Hajj and Umrah guides, and a library of articles and stories with declared sources.
The platform also exposes a public data API and an MCP server, so developers and AI assistants can read prayer times, Qibla and Quran data directly.
Accuracy first
Quran text follows the Uthmani script from trusted sources, and prayer times use established astronomical methods with your choice of calculation method and madhhab.
Private by design
No account is required for core features. Your location, preferences and reading progress stay on your device.

Editorial content is reviewed by people, and any AI-assisted drafting is clearly labelled.
Who runs the platform
Wesalna was founded and is developed by Mohammad Alashram, a full-stack web developer and SEO specialist based in Amman, Jordan. His role is technical and editorial - building the tools and presenting the content - while religious rulings come from the established references listed on the sources page and in the editorial policy.

- Selection: we start from a recurring practical need, such as knowing the zakat threshold or finding the Qibla in a new city.
- Verification: religious texts are referenced to their sources and figures are checked against providers listed on the sources page.
- Human review: every page is read by an editor before publishing, and any AI assistance in drafting is disclosed in the editorial policy.
- Maintenance: tools and pages are reviewed periodically and corrected promptly when a documented issue arrives.
What we do not do
- We do not issue fatwas or give financial, legal or medical advice. Tools are indicative, as stated in the disclaimer.
- We do not sell user data or build advertising profiles, per the privacy policy.
- We place no advertising inside the Mushaf text, out of respect for the Quranic text.
