Connect an AI assistant to Wesalna

Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code or any MCP client to Wesalna's server so it can answer about the Quran, prayer times, Qibla, Hijri dates, azkar and articles, and calculate zakat.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT requires Developer mode first. Then you create a new connector and paste the address above.

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's advanced Connectors settings and enable Developer mode. Open settings
  2. 2Open the new-connector dialog directly. Create connector
  3. 3Enter the app name (for example, Wesalna) and the address above, then review the warning and click Create.
  4. 4Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use Wesalna.

Claude

On Claude.ai you can add a custom connector with the name and address pre-filled by the button below.

  1. 1Click the button above; if the form does not open, open the Connectors page manually and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2Confirm the name and address, then click Add.
  3. 3Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use Wesalna.

Claude Code

Claude Code is added from the terminal with one command. Copy and paste it, then run /mcp inside Claude Code.

  2. 2Start Claude Code and type /mcp to confirm Wesalna is connected.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use Wesalna.

Other MCP clients

Any client that supports remote MCP servers works with the same general steps.

  1. 1Open the MCP or custom connector settings in the client.
  2. 2Create a connection to a remote MCP server.
  3. 3Name it Wesalna and paste the address above.
  4. 4Complete any sign-in or authorization prompt, enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use Wesalna.

Refresh after the app changes

The assistant caches the tool list locally. After any Wesalna update, refresh the connector so it gets the latest tools.

ChatGPT

Open the Plugins page, pick the app, then click Refresh under Information. If the address changed, delete the app and repeat the steps above.

Claude

Open the Connectors page, pick the connector, then click Refresh or Update tools. If the address changed, remove the connector and repeat the steps above.

Claude Code

Every new session loads the latest tools automatically. If the address changed, run claude mcp remove wesalna then run the install command above again.

Other clients

Open the connector settings, pick the connection, then click Reload or Reconnect. If the address changed, paste the new address from above.
