About Casablanca and its timings
Casablanca is an Atlantic port that became Morocco's economic capital in the twentieth century, and its architecture records that shift in Art Deco blended with Moroccan ornament. The Hassan II Mosque stands partly over water and its minaret ranks among the tallest anywhere. The Atlantic moderates its summer, keeping it mild while inland cities bake.
Casablanca sits at the far west of its time zone, so its sunset runs very late in summer and pushes Isha to a notably late hour.
