About London and its timings
London grew on the Thames as a Roman harbour and then expanded by absorbing surrounding villages, which is why it reads today as a network of districts each with its own centre. It holds hundreds of mosques and prayer halls spread through those districts, with the gold-domed Regent's Park mosque among the best known. Its northern latitude is the real practical challenge: summer daylight passes sixteen hours and shrinks to about eight in winter.
At 51 degrees north twilight never fully ends at midsummer, which is why the Moonsighting Committee method is used to estimate Fajr and Isha instead of a fixed angle.
